I do a lot of call forwarding, and since upgrading to the Pixel 5 my forwarding only works intermittently , and regularly gives me IMEI code errors and doesn't display when my phone is forwarded. Fido says my IMEI is showing a blackberry phone?!? I feel like that is the problem as I haven't had any luck with this problem after all my phone calls in. Can they update the IMEI in their system and maybe that will fix this?
Please someone help me.

Did you get the phone from Fido? Ask Fido to do a reset to switch and see if it help if not try doing a factory reset.
