Re: Billing question if port out

Hello @kevin123haha,

Your bill will be prorated so you will just pay for the days you had the service for. We are usually charge in advance for the month so if you cancel in the middle of your cycle you will most likely have a negative balance and Fido will credit you the money back.

If you end up having a credit Fido will send you a cheque by mail to the address on file.

It usually takes 3 weeks to arrive but can take as long as 6 weeks.

Re: Billing question if port out

Hey @kevin123haha,

KAPABLE-K is correct, however, we'd hate to see you go! We'd like a chance to go over your account and check out the options for a data plan that would work for you.

I'm sending you a PM shortly, see you there.

Re: Billing question if port out

Hello @kevin123haha,

My previous reply only applies to post-paid cellular lines.

If you have just the data only/tablet plan and port out or cancel in the middle of your cycle then you will not get a refund.
