Being charged new plan, no new S24 yet

How am I being charged for a new plan I bought so I can get a new phone when I haven't received the phone yet?  I ordered the phone on Sunday before Cyber Monday. Got order confirmation from Fido but didn't get a "Your order is ready for pickup" email after 5 business days. Talked to Customer Care 4 times this week. They should be called "Customer? Don't Care!".  I went to Bridlewood Mall 3 times this week. They don't answer your call because the ringer is on silent. They said they don't have my order.  It's not in the system, they say.  My Account shows I am on the new plan but I am probably not gonna get my phone for weeks or months.  Last year, I had the same problem when I ordered an iphone 13 in November.  Didn't get the phone til February.  Pissed

We definitely can get how these situations can be quite frustrating!

Do note that we do our best to fulfill pending orders with the stock we get directly from the phone manufacturer. 

 

Since the mobile plan is separate from the device finance, this can be charges prior to the phone being shipped out. 

 

That being said, if ever you have concerns over your pending order and/or your account, please contact us here and we'll review things with you!

Sorry, I don't buy that. I've never been charged for a plan without the phone. Today I got an email saying the device is sold out at that location so my order was canceled. Now what do you say?? I have to keep this plan that is $20 more per month? Heck no. I called customer care to open a ticket to get my old plan back. Let's see if they'll fix it in 5 days like they promised.
