Bad phone call reception with a specific friend

Hi all!

I'm trying to figure out what's that recurring problem.

When I talk with a precise friend on my iPhone (she's with Videotron, I don't know if it's related), suddenly I almost don't hear her anymore, like if she was 2 meters away from the phone. After a while the sound comes back all right, and it does it again and again. She, on her side, can hear me well. Every time we talk, we have that problem.

It doesn't occur when I talk with her with my home phone (not Fido) or any other person.

I don't which one of us has the problem. She says that I'm the only one with whom she has that problem (her partner is on Roger and there's no problem), and it's the same for me: I don't have that problem with anyone else, but I admit Irarely talk with my iPhone.

Any ideas?

That's odd! Would it be possible for you to try your sim in another phone to see if you get a different outcome? Also, does the issue occur at specific locations?
