I am currently isung BYOP plan of $65 (Unlimited Call + 10 GB Data) since long time. Now I want to Downgrade it to $50 BYOP (Unlimited Call + 5 GB Data) plan because I am not using more than 4 GB every month. Let me know how I can di it?
I called CSR and as per the information from him, I can not do it. This is for new customers. In that case, I have to cancel the plan and switch to another provider and come back as a new customer. Looks funny but looks like CSR want me to follow this route.
I am sure FIDO care about loyalty and can help me in this crucial COVID-19 time to reduce my bill little bit.

The $50 5 GB plan is a promotional plan available to new client as well as existing ones, so long as you're getting a new phone with this plan. You cannot select this plan otherwise.

Thanks for your response. I would like to reduce my monthly bill due to Covid-19 and looking my monthly data use pattern. I am not going over 5 GB anyway; therefore, no point to to go over it. This 5 GB plan was not available when I chose this 10 GB plan.
As far as you mentioned, $50 5 GB plan is a promotional plan available to new client as well as existing ones, I think Fido should respect my loyalty for being a customer since long time and should not punished us. What if I cancel my plan with Fido for one month and come back again. will I be not a new customer? Just kidding. I am sure Fido as well as myself will not like that.
