1$ charges on prepaid

I tried to process a bunch of transactions(prepaid balance top ups) last night and none of them seemed to go through, however this morning when i woke up, my credit card has a bunch of 1$ charges on it and my account balance is still 0$. just wondering why this would be and if the charges are going to disappear, thanks.

Hi Lyanne! 

A $1 validation charge is temporarily applied by the credit card provider to confirm the validity of the card before the payment is accepted. It's simply an authorization hold and it'll be reversed shortly.
