Ridiculous situation here.
Thanks to FIDO support team.
I am moving addresses and the new address doesnt have FIDO service apparently.
Had to cancel the service from FIDO due to that reason.
I specified the date of closure twice in bold letters but the service was cancelled rightaway.
Left with no internet due to the support team error.
How am I supposed to work from home ?
How are my kids gonna attend their schools ?
What about the money which has already been paid for the service ?
Absolute RUBBISH !!
Yes so they said that they had "raised a case" for the service to be re-instated which was cancelled on a wrong date due to FIDO support team error.
And said that the case would take 2 to 3 business days.
I would be moving in 5 business days so doesnt make any sense.
Also the second person I talked to said that someone called "claiming to be me" to reinstate the service.
I am not sure whats going on.
All I wanted was my service transferred and if the service is not available at the new location thats not my problem.
