Outage notification / mailing list

Are there any internet Outage Maps the customers can check to see outages and affected areas?  Or alterntatively, are there any mailing list the customers can sign onto and be notified when there's an outage?

The current Fido customer support (call or online live chat) is very time consuming to get simple updates like outages and estimated restoration times.  Such channels, as mentioned above, will improve customer experience and reduce unnecessary call centre (or live chat agent) queues.

Hey @jhung

There is no outage map. However, we notify customers of planned outages in advance. We also send text messages for most unplanned outages to let customers know. You need to make sure you have a valid contact number on your account to receive them though.
