Home internet outage

I could barely use my internet today because it kept cutting off intermittently. I’m seething underneath my skin right now because no one on your end knows what they’re doing. I’ve talked to your “specialists” and used your useless AskJack feature only to be told that there’s an “outage in my area” that’s why I’m experiencing issues with my internet. I was repeatedly told that the issue should be resolved within 24 hours, but it’s been at least 4 consecutive days and the issue is still not fixed.


I had to submit the hours I worked for the month of July today, and I was held back because the internet kept going down each time I opened my email and attempted to send my completed hours. I don’t think there is an actual issue in my area, I think that the modem I have is faulty. Instead of waiting on you guys to figure out and fix the “outage problem in my area”, I’m just going to replace my modem because I think that’s the actual issue. Once I finish my year with Fido, I’m definitely moving on to a different internet provider because I was almost brought to tears today because of the struggle I had with the internet. Thanks for ruining my long weekend, Fido!

I'm sorry to hear that. The good news is that a ticket will be created if we have confirmed that there's an outage in your area, and they are usually resolved within 24 hours.
