Do I need to stop my current internet before activating Fido's Home Internet?

I have been using Teksavvy since a few years.

 

Today I ordered on line Fido Home Internet and got the shipping notificaiton from Fido later the same day. So the new modem will arrive in a couple of days. From what I see, as soon as I get the new modem. I can set up and use Fido Home Internet right away.

 

So I'm wondering if I need to stop my current internet before activating Fido's Home Internet? Or I just start Fido internet then call Teksavvy to stop their service?

It dosen't matter you can cancel the Tecksavvy account before or after.
