Charge for modem after migration to rogers

I got an email back in April saying Fido was no longer giving out internet and would would stop at the beginning of May and was also told to recycle the modem. I just received a bill charging me for the modem rental for July-Aug even after I called and was assured my account would be cancelled and no more charges would occur. What is the reason for the charge of the modem I was told to recycle and no longer using?

You shouldn't be charged for the modem rental, since we're not requesting it back.

 

Please contact our migration team at 1-877-331-9209 during their business hours:

  • Monday to Saturday: 8 am  to 10 pm (EST)
  • Sunday: 9 am to  8 pm (EST).

We'll be happy to look into it for you.
