Quick link to first new message of a thread?

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

No, actually it was here, only a few days ago, before the latest changes to the web site. When viewing the topic list, topics with new posts were bold (they still are), and there was a link that would take us to the first new message of that topic. I cannot find such a link anymore.

Am I missing something or is it actually gone?

I've stumbled across a setting for this (though I've not used the community much before the update).

Found in Community>My Settings>Preferences

You will see another 'tab': >Linear Layout

There, there is a checkbox to "Jump to first unread post in a topic"

I imagine (hope) that this works as described? 😉

Well, it turns out that the topic's title is the link to the first new message. It never occured to me to try it out since everywhere else I've been, it goes to the first message of the topic.

Hey @zyx, we updated the community not long ago, so a few things definitely changed. I'll try to get a list of the changes, I'll keep you posted!
