Leaving Fido because of overpriced US roaming fees

Hello Fido,

I've been a loyal customer for many years but I feel like you are not competative with other Canadian carriers when it comes to US roaming.  You continue to jack up the price on roaming from $8 to day then $10 per day and now $12 per day.  This is highway robbery when you consider Telus, Videotron, Fizz mobile and others offer a Canada/US plan with a fixed monthly rate.
I'm done, I'll never return to Fido again until you offer a Canada/US plan at an affordable price.

I'm sad to learn that you've taken the decision to leave us after all these years. We regularly update our service fees to reflect the increased cost of delivering roaming services.

 

There are other options available to Fido ROAM though we believe that this is the most affordable if you're planning to use your phone throughout your trip.
