The MVP program (Most Valuable Posters) was implemented in order to recognize community members who go above and beyond the call of duty. By helping other Community members, they contribute to creating a supportive, positive, and pleasant environment.  

 

In a nutshell, an MVP is an active, helpful, and knowledgeable community member who helps maintain a dynamic and interactive community.

 

MVPs are identified by a special rank and icon next to their username, along with an exclusive customized signature.

 

Community members who are being considered for the MVP program are identified by the MVP Prospect rank. 

 

The MVP program is on an invite basis. MVPs will be reviewed every 3 months, however, can be removed at any time.

 

MVPs who stand out with their contributions and quality of responses may be promoted to Senior MVP status.

 

MVPs and Sr. MVPs are not Fido employees, so to show our appreciation for helping out on the Community, they are eligible to receive perks and other privileges.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Level of overall activity
  • Even in disagreement, they retain a positive attitude towards both Fido and the Community
  • Likes received and Accepted Solutions provided
  • Demonstrates willingness to help
  • Provides friendly assistance
  • Confident in their knowledge
  • Usefulness of content provided
  • Respect of the Community Guidelines
  • Like MVPs, Sr. MVP members are specifically chosen by the Fido Community Crew.
  • Members aspiring to be Sr. MVP's should focus on providing quality content and being a standout member of the MVP program.
  • Only top MVPs are considered for Sr. MVP status.

PERKS

  • A private board reserved for MVPs
  • Special privileges in the Community
  • Invitation to participate in community beta programs if/when available
  • 5GB of Bonus Data per month, for 3 consecutive months added to their Data, Talk & Text plan (renewable should member retain MVP status)
  • 50% off the monthly service fee of their Data, Talk & Text plan, for 3 consecutive months (renewable should member retain MVP status)
  • A one-time $100 bill credit towards a hardware upgrade on their Fido account (once every 2 years)
  • A private board reserved for MVPs
  • Special privileges in the Community
  • Invitation to participate in community beta programs if/when available
  • 10GB of Bonus Data per month, for 3 consecutive months added to their Data, Talk & Text plan (renewable should member retain Sr. MVP status)
  • 100% off the monthly service fee of their Data, Talk & Text plan, for 3 consecutive months (renewable should member retain Sr. MVP status)
  • A one-time $200 bill credit towards a hardware upgrade on their Fido account (once every 2 years)
