In iOS 8, in Mobile Safari, if you were viewing a mobile version of a web page and wanted to see the desktop version, you would tap the address bar, then pull down in the quicklinks view to expose two extra items and then select "request desktop version". In iOS9 Apple has removed this, adding two new methods, one of which is quicker.

Method 1 (quick)

-in the address barm press and hold the refresh icon (circular arrow)

-a menu will appear at the bottom of the screen, select "Request Desktop site"

done

Method 2 (slow)

-At the bottom of the safari window, press the options icon (square with an up arrow)

-In the lower ribbon that comes up, swipe to the left to get to the end of the items

-press the "request desktop site" icon

done
