The LG G3, Galaxy S6 and S6 edge all come with something called an IR blaster, which means it can be used as a remote for your TV and cable/satellite box. So just because your sister has the remote doesn't mean you don't have one as well! My G3 has saved me from watching bad reality TV shows since July!
