hi I had a blk berry but it got water damaged,now I have an LG GW300FD,can someone tell me how I text on this one,I had unlimited texting on my bb and my account says I still do I just cant seem to figure out how to do it. Also,does ayone know how to override the locked unlock thingy?

How To Send A Message On The LG GOSSIP:

1) Press Menu, select messaging and chose create a new message.

2) A new message editor will open.  Message editor combines SMS and MMS in one intuative mode that is easy to switch between.  The default setting of the message editor is SMS mode.

3) Enter your text using the keypad.

4) Select Options and choose Insert to add an Image, Video, Sound, Symbols, Template, Emoticon, Name & Number, New slide, Subject or More (Businesscard/Schedule/Memo/tasks/Mybusiness card).

5) Choose Send.

6) Choose a contact from the list of contacts or enter the phone number.

7)Select Send.

My husband has that phone, you go into the menu and "messaging". The unlock on that phone can be annoying, but at least it reduces butt dialing dramatically :D Somewhere in settings you can turn it off I believe.
