question about data plan

As seen here https://www.fido.ca/web/content/internet/wia_email_options it says $25 for 2gb why cant I get it if im on a contact is there a higher plan then the 500mbs I pay $25

If your contract is only on a voice plan, you can add this plan with no problems. However, if you have a data plan as well, it may trigger a DECF if you switch. To avoid this, you can request a switch to the $30/6GB plan instead if you had the previous data plan for greater than 3 months.

Yes its public knowledge that the $25/2G plan is available on no data term. if you already have a data plan, then u might have a data term on it, so if u have a data term, u cant switch to a data option without a data term, unless u pay the data term cancellation penalty. or are you trying to cheat the system to get around this? you can tell us the truth, we wont judge you
