old sim card, new phone, can't make phone calls?

Hi there,

I just got my new phone in the mail today (google pixel XL if that matters), and slipped the SIM card from my old phone into the new one. Everything transferred just fine- all my apps and contacts, etc etc- but I can't make or receive phone calls now? When i try to call someone, it says "invalid number" and when someone calls me, it just says my number is out of service.

Are you getting signal on your new phone, or is it showing no signal/emergency calls only? Also, are you only having problems with calls, or is data/SMS not working either?

Hey @FidoMaria, I've been able to text and everything else seems fine- no "emergency calls only" thing or anything, just seems to be calling that's not working!

@walnutters That's definitely odd. If you put your SIM in your old phone, are you able to place calls?
