no service in New Zealand

I'm currently travelling in Auckland, New Zealand. My Fido sim card won't work on my cellphone. It shows no service. I have tried to restart my phone and manually set up the network, it won't help. Can someone help to fix the problem. I need to receive texts from canadian bank.

Hi @lfz1011 , sorry to hear you're having difficulty with roaming in New Zealand. Do you have prepaid or postpaid plan? Is your device capable of roaming on New Zealand networks (bandwidth frequency used in NZ) You may want to message fidosolutions on Twitter or Facebook to see if someone can help you via direct messaging. As you cannot get service at all, I won't tell you to send a text to verify your eligible for roaming. Can you put your Sim in a different phone to see if registers from a different device?
