new phone won't turn on

my freshout of the box will not turn on at all, i did the new sim card and still nothing

Did you plug it in and let it charge? If you did does it show it is charging? 

 

If it is not turning on at all you can have it replaced Fido does offer a 15-30 days satisfaction guarantee depending on which channel you got the device, you can get more information here.
