iPhone7 Bluetooth issue in the car

I just got Iphone 7 plus (Purchased from Apple Canada and upgraded to 10.2) and have static/ stuttering issues while making calls via bluetooth. The sound starts very low but when you observe the silence during calls, the static sound is clearly heard.

I have Honda Accord 2015 updated to latest firmware. I previously had s6 edge but never had any issues making calls via bluetooth.

1. Is this fido connection issue or phone issue ?

2. Would changing sim card help ?

3. Highly a doubt about apple iphone issues but would exchange help ?

Any thoughts or anyone else facing similar issue ?

@snehans1 If you are only experiencing the issue while using bluetooth then the problem is not Fido's connection, a quick search lead me to this article covering reports of bluetooth issues with the iPhone.

@KAPABLE-K thanks for the headsup. It appears alot of people complaing about it. I just poked in apple community and majority of people having issues. I spoke to applecare support they ran diagnostics and found bluetooth is passing the test. Applecare suggested to perform factory reset and test again.

Hopefully this resolves, if not may swap the phone while the warranty covers.
