iPhone 12 Pro Order Confirmation

I recently ordered an iPhone 12 Pro, the confirmation email outlines the delivery duration as follows

We are processing your order for (XXX) XXX-XXXX, which you should receive in up to 5 business days.

Considering the backorders currently, how accurate is the above delivery duration?

Did you get a specific duration time in confirmation email? Or any followup email?

I get weekly updates saying it's on the way, and I just have to wait (and my place in line - I used the reservation system to order it while it was on backorder).

I was in ~50th position back then, I'm currently in 15th position.

But there have been people on here who have ordered it way after me, and have recieved their phones already. So really, I don't really know what the system is doing.
