Xiaomi Mi 5s plus MMS not connecting unable to send pic or video msgs

So this subject is perhaps getting long in the tooth, but I purchased the Xiaomi MI 5S Plus based on the fact it was the international version with dual sim tray capability.

I have used the phone for 3 days and have 2 sims installed.  as you can see by photo #1, mobile data is of course on, now on this phone, the APN access is gained by taping the first SIM # or FIDO1 in this case.

When I do so I then have the UI for adding/editing APN's.

I have 2 apn's set up (see attached photos) one for internet browsing while off wifi, the other for presumably MMS (pic and vid sending via text).

So am I totally off the mark?

Do I need to remove the 2nd sim card to set this up?

I have also tried the settings here:

http://forums.fido.ca/t5/forums/forumtopicpage/board-id/archives/thread-id/26887

and am having ZERO luck in being able to send or recieve MMS.

This is my reference for band operation:

https://www.gearbest.com/blog/how-to/4-steps-to-know-whether-a-phone-will-work-in-your-country-1785

So...is there anyone in forumland who has overcome the aggrivation and willing to accept $$ from me now to get this working?

THanks, I have checked already using this site:

https://www.frequencycheck.com/country-compatibility/MQbYv/canada/devices?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q%5Bfull_na...

it's one that you can simply put in the name/model and it will tell you and the one I have works fine.
