WP7 will be important but I don't know if that will be import to Fido to start offering. WP7 is totally news OS build from ground 0 and does offer MORE features than iPhone does (except copy and paste which will be added on the first released update in January 2011). WP7 it has the potential to become Top2 or 3 for smartphones.
