Using Blackberry features over wifi

Is it possible to use the Blackberry features (BBM, email, app store, etc) over a wifi connection, without a data plan? Information from the RIM website indicates that it is technically possible but may depend on the wireless carrier. If it is possible, how do you set it up properly? The email set-up asks for an email address and password for enterprise account activation. I have an unlocked Blackberry Torch. Thanks!

Hello Meghan,

It is unfortunately not possible for you to access the Blackberry service via WiFi without a data option, the reason being that you need access to the Blackberry Access Point Name (APN) in order to use those services.
