Question about 3G on a noka c6

Hi,

I don't know much about how 3g and phone works.

On my nokia C6, it shows that the 3G sign is on, but I don't have a data plan. Is it costing me money to have that 3G? I can't seem to figure out a way to turn it off through settings. I want to turn it off because I don't use internet and I'm afraid that since I don't have a data plan, that it is costing me money.

Hi there f3ried,

To clarify,  3G is not internet, it's our third generation network. You make calls, send MMS and send texts over 3G.

If you do not have a data option you cannot be charged data while in Canada because the service will be restricted.
