What exactly do you mean by "I tried contacting Fido but no help" did you speak to someone and what did they say?
When you log in to your account do you see the new number and device? If you do not see it then it could just be a spam email trying to get you to click on a link.
If the number and device are showing on the account customer service should forward this to the fraud department and some would contact you.
