Nexus S has not received 2.3.4 update from Google

My brother has had it for a week, the update has not been pushed yet (he is at 2.3.3). I received 2.3.4 the same night I got my phone (mid-august).

Could it be because 2.3.6 was released, then pulled until later this month?

Did you try searching for the update manually? (Settings- About Phone- System Updates)
