Nexus S flickering LED

So I have a question that might just end up being a hardware issue. I have an app on my Nexus S that lets me use the LED flash as a flashlight (which I find to be very useful and brighter than the iPhone LED). The LED has worked perfectly fine until recently when I noticed that it starts to flicker after a few seconds of being on. The flickering reminds me of a cheap LED flashlight where the build quality stinks and the power flow to the LED is interrupted, causing the flickering. I was hoping that this was just an issue with the app and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but the flickering continues. Is there anything I can do about this? I just got the phone a few months ago so it's not worth returning and replacing.

So strangely enough, with great timing, my LED flash no longer works at all...

Hello meatballbox,

It looks like this would be a hardware issue.

I would suggest bringing your phone in for repair in a participating Fido store.

You can find the nearest store from you here:
