So I just arrived home (6:15 p.m., July 19) and on my drive home I received a notice on my Nexus S that there was a software update available. I was happy, as I was sure it was Jelly Bean - but when I arrived home, and proceeded with the update, it was ICS again (4.0.4) which was already the installed OS on my phone - and it was the one that was downloaded originally when it was released to us FIDO customers....so what gives? Why would I get an "update" notificiation only to have everything re-installed with the exact same version OS (4.0.4)? Did this happen to anyone else today?

Ok, so about 3 hours after I wrote the original post, my mom, who also has the Nexus S with FIDO, had the exact same thing happen - she received a software update notice, but the "update" was, again, 4.0.4 - so what's going on? We both already had that update pushed to us months ago... no way it only happened to the 2 of us!
