My phone went completely offline (not even sms or phone calls)

Hi,

For two days my phone went completely offline. I first noticed that internet wouldn't work without Wi-Fi and I thought it might just be the network having difficulties, but it also extend to my SMS and my ability to send or receive phone calls (except emergencies).

It's a new phone (since January 2017), LG G5 and it worked until recently. I am not in airplane mode, my wi-fi is enabled (and works), my mobile data is enabled and I still have about 2Gb of data available.

I guess it might be my Sim card that is busted ? (came from my previous 2 years old phone) In which case I'll have to show up to a Fido booth. I'd like to know if there is something else I can do, though.

Hey AlexandreCarle! 

Have you tried to turn the phone off and back on?

Do you have your old phone where you can test the SIM card to see if that's the issue? If it works in your old device, it would be an issue with your LG G5.
