How do I get my Samsung 8 to work on fido.

I just got a samsung 8 edge, It is unlocked from telus, brand new,  I have changed the apn deleted it and done it over noting,  I can see the fido network as a choice to connect to however it sits registering for about 4 min and then says it cant.  please help,  I need my phone I was out of the country for over week and now I have no phone it is disasterous.

Just to make sure, was the phone configured with all those device settings? Did you make sure that the Network Mode was set to Automatic?
