Good afternoon. I was just wondering if it would be possible to buy a new iPhone and just paying the monthly contract for the package deal of my choice, is that a possibility or no ?

Hello Nick301,

Firstly to clarify, are you wishing to purchase the phone outright? If so, you should note that since Fido switched to their Payment Program, contracts are only used for financing devices. Monthly services are on a month-to-month basis. If you purchased a device outright, there would be no contract.

If that is the case, I believe you should be able to purchase devices outright. After selecting the device, there should be a Pay for device in full option.

On the other hand, when you refered to the contract for the package deal of your choice, were you referring to the Payment Program financing contract?

If you only wish to finance a device without services, I do not believe that is possible. As far as I am aware, to finance a phone or device, you must have an eligible postpaid plan (see link above).

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers
