Blackberry 9700 unlocked SOS just started

We cant seem to get off SOS. We did manual mode. No network. I put in another sim. Nothing. Yes booted. Yes took out sim. Is it the phone?

try your sim in a friends phone and if it works, then the black berry is toast and needs to be fixed
