can't have access to data use

I recently switched to Fido. The number has been activated, I can make and receive calls, and send and receive texts on my ported number. I can't however use my data (lte) to go to other sites than fido.ca. I'm pretty sure the apn settings are correct after reading the forums and support page. The LTE icon on my notification bar is on whenever i turned off my wifi and enable mobile data. I just can't access any site other that fido's website. I get prompted to buy a data pass when i tried accessing other sites. Can anyone help? Thanks!
