You can port your number during business hours, are you porting into Fido or away from Fido? If away from Fido then you will need to contact your new provider and they will take the necessary information from you and start the porting process, you should note you will need to keep the Fido account active until the porting process has been completed, once completed it will automatically cancel the Fido line.
Either way, if you are porting in or out you will need to contact the provider during their respective business hours.
