Upgrade and 10% discount eligibility

Hi all!

I am planning to upgrade the device by paying off the remainder and the switch to a cheaper plan. The questions are:

1) will I be able to switch to BYOD plan (since I paid off the remainder)?

2) will Ibe eligible for a 10% discount (as the phone was paid off)?

Hey @chemistua! 

If you buy out your agreement and stay without agreement, you would definitely be eligible for a Bring Your Own Phone plan. 

That being said, we no longer offer a 10% discount if you have your own phone. This discount used to be offered to give you a rebate on the plan compared to the price with agreement but these discounts are now built in the Bring Your Own Phone plans.
