Travelling in India and my network is E - how do I fix this?

Hello friends, I'm currently travelling in India and I'm supposed to receive an important phone call later today on my 416 #. but my network shows 'E' - any tips on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Some important notes:
I have an Iphone
I have a Canadian E sim
I have already gone into celluar data options and voice & data are set to LTE, I also have VoLTE turned on though I doubt that works in India

It depends on the carrier you are roaming on in India and your device, you will have to see what band/frequencies the carrier in India requires and then see if your device has those compatible frequencies. Alternatively, you can try enabling WiFi calling and use that if you have access.
