Scammer placed an order for iPhone 14 on my account

Hi,
Someone ordered an iPhone 14 Pro Max with a contract on my Fido account. My email has been getting spammed. I suspect the scammer hacked into my Fido account and placed the order. When you track the order online it says it is already delivered. However, the delivery address is Scarbrough ON, and my speech is not there. I also did not receive a phone.  I contacted support right away when I realized this fraud. The support told me that someone from the fraud department would contact me within 24 hours but it has been longer than that. Please provide a solution for this fraud.

Hi @AJ91 , how horrible to have this happen to you. If you have reported it and were told the fraud department will be contacting you, then try to be as patient as possible. They will contact you. I know this is an unnerving experience but wait for the call. If you haven't done so already,  change your password for your fido account and also your email account. They could have hacked your fido account by taking over your emails. So sorry this happened to you.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just concerned that the customer service representative told me that I would be contacted by the fraud department within 24 hours but the wait time had passed. So I'm wondering if I should take any actions on my end. And I changed my password and pin code when I called customer service. I looked up my email and found that they've also changed my pin code. I don't know how that was possible until I called customer service. I only had to provide very basic information to get access to my account and did not say my pin correctly because it had been changed by the scammer. I guess that is how they changed my PIN as well. I don't think my email is hacked, it was just spammed with tons of subscription emails. I can't think of a way anyone else could have my Fido account unless it is an internal employee but of course, I could be wrong. Please have the fraud team reach out to me ASAP.
