SIM card fee of $11.5

I opened up an account two days ago in a fido store near the Walmarts. I was asked to pay $11.5 for the new sim card and I paid it by credit card. May I ask if it is a regular fee your company charges or an unreasonable fee?Thank you!

The SIM card is indeed $10 plus taxes. Was it to activate a postpaid or a prepaid account?

   it's  my first time to purchase the phone card and I activated it right away in the store . Some friends of mine have met with the same problem with me and they have already received the refund by online complaints .
