I took my phone with me to Florida for a month but i never used it, not even for texting, I was charged a $6 roam charge. What is that about?

Hey @dvivster,

The Fido Roam fee is charged on the days that the device is used to make or receive a call, send a text message or use data while abroad.

Was your Data Roaming option on the phone turned off while you were still in Canada or only after you got the the U.S? If it was turned off in the U.S and the phone had time to connect to the U.S. network, then the data would've been used while roaming and the daily fee would've been charged.

Also, did you get a chance to check out your PDF bill to see the details of the usage while in the U.S.?
