RETURNED MODEM IS LOST BY THE RETAILER

Hi

I switched to Rogers months back and was advised by Fido to return the Modem to one of the retailers or mail it back. I opted to return it to the Retailer. Quite surprisingly the Retailer did not update the system and when returned to the Retailer he informed me that he did not have space and he dumped my modem. Escalated to Fido management multiple times and was advised to revisit the retailer but the retailer refused to update the system despite providing him with the serial number. Fido Management initially informed me that they would update the system at their end if the retailer refused to cooperate but despite calling them several times, nobody helped, and eventually today received a Fido Bill for not returning the equipment. How should I further escalate it to the ombudsman's office?

 

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your situation, it would be best to contact customer service again and ask to speak to a manager if the manager does not help then I would suggest you ask to have the issues forwarded to the Office of the President.
