I just found out I got charged a penalty of over $25 for forgetting to update my credit card info. I suffer from depression and one of my symptoms is lack of memory. So, naturally I forgot to update my credit card info. I noticed that the card didn't go through in January, by looking at my February online bill and proceeded to update the info right away. My March bill comes in and now I have a penalty for the old card not going through. For someone who cannot get a job for five years due to my mental health, a $25 charge is a lot of money. And it's more than I pay monthly to use my phone. None of this information is on the Fido website help pages. You should clearly state the penalty fees on the site so no one else is surprised by this charge.
