I've switched providers because Fido wouldn't match their deals for incoming customers. I was with Fido for over a decade, but if they can't match what they're giving new people, what value is there for me to stay? 

Also, Shame on this company for not giving its representatives the ability to match deals for their customers. I received an email afterwards saying that Fido is 'creating a deal just for me'.... yeah, you should have done that while I was on the phone for nearly an hour.

I sincerely hope policy changes will lead to better experiences in the future, but for now, I'm out.
