Inability to complete phone upgrade on website

Anybody else having trouble upgrading their phone on the website? I've been trying for two weeks and it keeps crashing right after I pick the plan, saying "something when wrong, try again in a few minutes". I called, and the operator told me there was too much traffic and to wait until the new iphone was in the stores before trying again. That was last week, and I'm still getting the same error message. Do I need to wait a month?

Nothing should be preventing you from ordering a device online. 

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache?
