I want to extend freezing my number

So I froze my number a few months ago because I returned to my home country and it's going to end in March this year. Does anyone know if you can use live chat to do it and if you can, how so? I've spent the past hour going back and forth signing and I've only managed to find the virtual assistant. Do I have to call Fido? Is it possible to extend freezing my number a few more months because I might be going back in the fall? I also saw somewhere that you're only allowed to freeze your number once in every 12 months somewhere, but I'm not sure if that's true.

You can definitely extend the temporary suspension, Fido offers it for a minimum of 2 months to a maximum of 12 months period.


You will need to contact customer service to have the extension applied you can contact them even from outside of the country through any of the available methods listed here.
