I switched from fido last month and I have an upcoming bill thats due Dec.Why?

I paid my last bill that I got in my email saying we are sorry to see you go bla bla bla.

 

When I checked my bills, I am seeing another one thats due Dec 24th. I cancelled my bill and paid the remaining. 

 

Can someone help me here. I don't want to have a bad credit with any organizations and I like paying all my bills on time.

Was this bill sent to you before you contacted us to cancel? If the billing date is before your cancellation date, it's normal to have a bill for the full cycle. You will receive a new bill with the adjustment. It will say Final Bill on it. 

 

Is this the case?
