I'm going on exchange for 6 months and won't be using my phone plan for Canada. I scheduled my suspension, but in the billing it shows the suspension as an add-on with my usual plan. I was confused on whether I'll only be charged $7 plus tax or whether it's my plan amount + temporary suspension fee.
My current balance is $0 and my next billing is in 21 days. Could someone please explain how the process will be carried out?
Also, I'll be able to keep my phone number right? I won't be using it while on exchange, but I really like mine and wouldn't want to lose it while my plan is suspended.

Hello @cintll,
Welcome to the community!
When you temporarily suspend your line, you pay only the $7 monthly fee; your regular monthly fee takes effect once you remove the suspension.
You will not lose your number everything will be restored to normal once you remove the suspension. The suspension is showing as an add-on because that's how we can add and remove it ourselves in the past you would have to contact customer service directly for them to add and remove the suspension.
You should also note If you are financing a device you will still have to make the device payments.
