Yesterday, I received multiple calls from individuals claiming to be from Fido/Rogers. Just before their calls, I was checking out a new device offer for the Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra. They mentioned seeing my order on my Fido account and offered the same phone and plan at the same price as my current data plan. It seemed suspicious, so I declined. However, they insisted and sent a verification code email from DONOTREPLY@fido.ca, which appeared legitimate due to the Fido email domain. I reluctantly provided all my details, including credit card information, and was assured I'd receive a confirmation email for my phone order from Fido. Shortly after, I received an email from DONOTREPLY@fidomobile.ca requesting a PIN change or addition.
The next day, when I called the number provided, someone answered claiming it was the wrong number. Concerned, I contacted Fido customer service, who directed me to their fraud management team. When I called, I was unable to reach anyone without an extension number. I'm worried that this person may have my credit card details and could send a phone to my address. What steps should I take next?

Hey @1991boss , sorry you seem to have been scammed. I think you should lock out your credit card immediately until you can confirm the interaction was legitimate. If you have your credit card app, you can lock your card right away. If you don't have the app, call the number on the back of your card and report a possibility of fraud. Be aware they will lock your card and most likely issue you a new one. Change you pin on Fido and make sure that they don't process anything without your consent. Fido, and any other Corp Will Never ask for your cc number by text or your pin or your security info. Call 611 from your device and request assistance right now.
